Perimeter Fence Project - Time Line Extended & Community Meetings Cancelled       03/21/2017

The Board of Directors has decided to extend the time line for the proposed General Improvement District (GID) to construct a masonry/brick perimeter fence until the 2019 election cycle. The community meetings scheduled for April 6 and 8 have therefore been CANCELLED due to the Board’s decision to extend the time line. These meetings will be rescheduled at a later date. This delay follows strong support expressed in the recent community survey.

The Joint Fence Committee recommended the delay because of uncertainties identified by a legal review of issues related to the Board’s authority to allow the GID to construct a fence across HOA common areas and the location of the fence in relationship to existing easements. These uncertainties cannot be resolved by the May 1st deadline for filing a petition with the City for the November 2017 election. The Committee will continue to work on resolving these uncertainties to allow the GID question to be on the November 2019 ballot.

Procedures for first time registration on the HOA site (all residents must first register before they can view resident only information):

 1.       To logon, a resident must first register on the website.  To register, click on the Welcome Visitor drop-down menu in the upper right hand corner of the homepage and select Register.

 2.       A new registration page will open up.  Enter your email address and click on submit.  If the system recognizes your email address, that means that your email address is already in our system and you will immediately receive an email with further instructions on how to complete the registration.

 3.       If the registration does not recognize your email address, the webmaster will be alerted and once she confirms that you are a Willow Creek 2 resident/homeowner you will receive an email instructing you on how to complete your registration process.

 4.       Once you complete the registration process and logon to the site you probably will not need to logon again as your computer will likely remember your logon ID.

Additionally, residents will find a calendar of neighborhood events, special notifications and updates on the many HOA and neighborhood activities.
